Howdy! Two unrelated things have happened in my life in the past month or so. I have become a vegetarian, and discovered the fantastic and fantastically popular blog French Laundry at Home. The two, with the lifestyle changes accompanying the former [and to some extent, I suppose, the latter] [eg buying spiffy new recipe books] have synthesized into a horrible new beast that is this blog. I found a super lovely pretty delicious book called Great Chefs Cook Vegan which is filled with meals by 25 amazinggg chefs like Thomas Keller, for example, all ultra-gourmet and all vegan but not at all grossly and I said hello! why not try embarrassing myself. And then I reply, most heartily: oh I think I will.
This should be AWESOME.
